We are proud to announce that My House Radio in partnership with the City of New Haven, CT, New Haven Police Dept and Yale University Police will be presenting the first Annual New Haven Oneness Festival to take place on the “New Haven Green” September 30, 2018 (New Haven, CT). This event will be a community and family-oriented occasion that includes music, dancing in the park, yoga and meditation, professional face painting and cultural dance instruction. The music genres to be featured include Rhythm and Blues, Salsa, Disco, and House Music - all of which will be played by local deejays. There will also be a special guest performance by one of Connecticut's own, world-renowned music artist Dawn Tallman - The Queen of Gospel House Music. We at the Oneness Festival Collective intend to do more than imagine racial, ethnic, class, gender, religious harmony. Rather, we are building a space for it to manifest. Our mission is to bring together first responders and the community through our mutual love of music. We all benefit when humanity is embraced as one despite social differences. Equally important, is the need to see a community that is unified as one. It is also our mission to raise funds to support a first responder seeking higher education or a current college student majoring in a criminal justice related degree. We view the beautiful and cultural tapestry of the New Haven area as One City, One Community, and One Sound.
