The New Haven Craft Brew Race will be held on Saturday, August 5 in Edgewood Park. So what exactly is it?  It’s really quite simple — The Craft Brew Races are a series of timed 5k’s open to beer lovers of all speeds, and beer festivals highlighting the local craft brewing scene. The 3-hour post-race celebration features sampling of more than 30 breweries, live music and food trucks. Children 15 and under are free with an adult. The Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival moved to its new home in 2014 at the Hebron Lions Fairgrounds in Hebron, CT. This four day festival is a great family event with plenty of music and fun for all. Our 21st year will be no different as we will bring the best of Bluegrass to the stage on the second weekend of August. We will also again have a second stage of Acoustic Music. Celebrate Craft Beer and Coastal Virginia Music at the 5th Annual Craft Beer & Music Festival, hosted by ESO Arts Center. Located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia, the CBMF takes place at the ESO Arts Center in Belle Haven, VA, convenient to many tourist attractions and resort towns off Route 13. Enjoy award winning local and regional craft beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages along with an array of food highlighting the culture of the Eastern Shore. Mainstage Music Acts start off with Double Booked:  Andy Malik, Austin Riopel, Brian Irminger and friends are an ESVA born and raised group of down-home marsh funk jamboree melodies.  Chris & Grayson English hail from Salisbury, Maryland but are no strangers to the ESO Stage. This father son act offer a combination of deep traditional blues and solid original material. Delta blues is their forte, singing, playing guitar and harp, stamping out the time on an old wooden coca cola crate. Bennett Wales & The Relief will round out the Coastal VA Music groups. This blues rock band from the Back Bay of Virginia is full of energy and foot stomping beats. The CBMF is the ESO Arts Center’s annual fundraiser with net proceeds benefiting arts programming for residents of Northampton and Accomack Counties and the renovation of the 1920s school currently home to ESO. Established 1986, ESO is a not for profit arts center dedicated to the development of the arts and artistic experiences for all residents of the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
